Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Feev B.V. ("Feev", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our Platform.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Feev B.V. is the controller of your personal data.

Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 77003187
Contact for privacy questions: support@feev.com

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at support@feev.com

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

Account data
your name, email address, password (stored securely), and preferences such as language and currency.
Booking and guest data
the details needed to make a booking, including the names of guests, travel dates, contact details, and any special requests. Where you book for someone else, this includes that person's details (see §9).
Payment data
the information needed to process your payment. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Business account data
where you use Feev for Business: organisation name, billing details, VAT number, and the role and bookings of members.
Communications
messages you send us (for example, support requests) and our correspondence with you.
Usage and device data
how you interact with the Platform, including IP address, device and browser information, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see §8).
Location data
approximate location derived from your IP address, or more precise location only if you allow it, to show relevant results.

3. How we use your data, and our legal basis

We use your data for the following purposes, each with a legal basis under the GDPR:

To provide your booking
creating your account, processing bookings and payments, sending confirmations, and providing support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
To communicate with you
sending service messages about your bookings, account, or these policies. Legal basis: performance of a contract; legitimate interests.
To operate and improve the Platform
keeping it secure, preventing fraud, analysing usage, and improving our service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
To show member and personalised pricing
applying Member Rates and relevant recommendations. Legal basis: performance of a contract; legitimate interests.
For marketing
sending offers and updates where you have signed up or where permitted. You can opt out at any time. Legal basis: consent; legitimate interests.
To meet legal obligations
including tax, accounting and fraud-prevention requirements. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights and freedoms.

4. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only as needed to run the service:

Hotels and accommodation suppliers
we pass guest and booking details to the hotel and to our travel-inventory supplier, so your stay can be fulfilled.
Payment processing — Stripe
we use Stripe to process payments. Your payment and card details are handled directly by Stripe as our payment provider; Feev does not store full card numbers.
Hosting and database — Hetzner
our servers and database are hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany. This is where your account, booking and related data is stored.
Email — Resend
we use Resend to send transactional and service emails, such as booking confirmations and account messages. This involves your email address and the content of those messages.
Maps — Mapbox
we use Mapbox to display maps and location features. When you use map features, limited technical and location data may be processed by Mapbox.
Error monitoring — Sentry
we use Sentry to detect and diagnose technical errors, which may include limited technical and usage data to help us keep the Platform working.
Professional advisers and authorities
where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
In a business transfer
if Feev is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal data. Each of the providers above acts on our instructions under a data-processing agreement, except where they are independent controllers for their own purposes (for example, Stripe in respect of payment regulation and fraud prevention).

5. International transfers

Your core account, booking and database records are stored within the European Union (our hosting and database are located in Germany, and our inventory supplier RateHawk operates within the EU).

Some of our providers are based in, or may process data in, the United States — in particular Stripe, Resend, Mapbox and Sentry. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or reliance on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, so that your data remains protected.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

Account data
for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Booking and payment records
for the periods required by tax and accounting law (generally seven years in the Netherlands).
Marketing data
until you opt out or withdraw consent.
Usage data
for limited periods consistent with security and analytics needs.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase your data in certain circumstances.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@feev.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the Platform work, remember your preferences, measure usage, and, where you allow it, for analytics and marketing. You can manage your choices through our Cookie Preferences and your browser settings. For details of the cookies we use, see our Cookie Policy.

9. Booking for other people

If you provide the personal data of other guests when making a booking, you confirm that you are allowed to share their data with us and that you have informed them how their data will be used, as described in this policy.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 except as part of a booking made by an adult (for example, a child included in a room reservation).

11. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system can be completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond promptly to any incident.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Platform. We will notify you of material changes through the Platform or by email.
